Keep an Arabic source log that another reviewer can reproduce
For a fictional commercial research question, save the Arabic search terms alongside the instrument or decision located. An English working summary should lead a colleague back to the precise original source, not become the only surviving record.
- Record the source title, issuing body, identifier and publication or amendment date.
- Save the original Arabic passage and distinguish it from the working translation.
- Record which query found the material and which relevant sources were unavailable.
- State open version, applicability and terminology checks in the research handover.
