§05.1How do credits work?
Credits are consumed when you use AI-powered features. Each plan includes monthly credits, follow-up questions in research and drafting cost half the initial rate, and you can purchase additional credit packs anytime — they never expire. Document uploads are free within your plan's included pages each month — see the next question for the full mechanics.
§05.2How do free document uploads work?
Every plan includes free upload pages — 5,000 a month on Starter, 10,000 a month on Professional, and 10,000 per seat a month (pooled) on Organisation, resetting at the start of each billing month. The free trial includes 500 pages for the length of the trial. Past the included pages, uploads are never blocked: processing simply continues at 0.5 credits per page, drawn from your credit pool. Re-processing a file (for example re-running OCR) is always charged at 0.5 credits per page, and duplicate files are detected and skipped, so they never consume pages or credits.
§05.3What's the difference between Starter and Professional?
Starter includes 2,500 credits per month and runs every feature on our standard AI models. Professional doubles the credits to 5,000, doubles the included upload pages to 10,000/month, and adds Deep Mode — our most advanced AI reasoning — across research, review, drafting, and more. You can start on Starter and upgrade whenever you're ready.
§05.4Can I switch plans later?
Yes! Upgrades — Starter to Professional, or any plan to Organisation — take effect immediately, your remaining credits carry over, and we'll prorate the difference. Downgrades are scheduled for your next renewal, so you keep your current plan until then.
§05.5What happens after the free trial?
Every 7-day free trial includes Deep Mode and 500 credits, with no card required. After 7 days the trial simply ends — nothing is charged, because no credit card was ever collected. Your work is preserved, and access pauses until you choose to subscribe. If you need more time to evaluate, contact us and we'll extend your trial.
§05.6Can I add more seats later?
Absolutely. Organisation plans scale from 2 to 20 seats self-serve — add or remove seats anytime from your admin dashboard. Need more than 20 seats? Contact sales and we'll set your organisation up.
§05.7Is there a contract or commitment?
Monthly plans have no commitment — cancel anytime. Annual plans are billed upfront for the year with significant savings.
§05.8What does the Enterprise plan include?
