Define the disputed period

A Qatar project file may contain years of correspondence while the immediate issue concerns one delayed milestone. Identify the period, workstream, contract, and question before reviewing the collection.

Record the material supplied and known gaps. A chronology based on one party's folder should state that boundary.

Classify the dates

Separate baseline programme dates, revised forecasts, actual events, notices, and response dates. Keep the source wording and document reference for each entry.

Do not turn a forecast into an actual completion date. Where a later email describes an earlier event, preserve both the event date and recording date.

Test a disputed cause

Suppose one letter attributes delay to access restrictions while another points to missing drawings. Put both accounts beside the relevant events and supporting documents.

The chronology should expose the dispute rather than choose the account that appears most often. Frequency of repetition is not proof of causation.

Connect contractual questions

Identify notice and change provisions relevant to the issue, with their source references. Ask counsel to assess legal effect and the technical reviewer to assess programme or causation matters.

Use the applicable Qatar framework and contract. Do not import procedural or substantive conclusions from a different jurisdiction's project dispute.

Prepare the review handover

Give the team the chronology, conflicting accounts, missing records, and focused questions. Record approved corrections and their basis.

Use the reviewed sequence to support drafting and case preparation. Judicio can organise the documents, but it does not replace expert delay analysis or counsel's entitlement assessment.

Sources and next steps

This is an editorial workflow guide for legal professionals. The suggested checks are our practical recommendations, not a statement that a regulator requires a particular software workflow.
